Life was hard when we thought we had to do it all.
By far the greatest thing the angels have taught us is that divine
help is there for everyone just for the asking. If our angels ever
chide us about anything, it is that we don’t access their help and
support often enough in order to allow their energy to meld with our
energy to create a bigger and better result.
Back in the olden days (before angels) we thought we had to do
everything alone and that the final outcome was up to us. We thought
we had to do it all. We believed the Zig Ziglars, the Tony Robbins,
the ESTs, the Lifespringers. We believed the slogans. We believed
that every conclusion was the result of our effort; what we did, how
we did it, and how much we believed it was going to happen. We
thought our efforts were 100% of the result.
It never occurred to us to ask the angels to help us.
The Angels Speak:
You make life too hard. We see you working at living. You think you
are walking the path of your life alone, and that if you make one
misstep you will lose the thread of your purpose and will never
regain it. You think too much. You have too many opinions. You
have been taught that results are up to you, and in some ways they
are, but not in the ways you think.
Many devices have been invented to help you live life more
conveniently and easily. You have cars, dishwashers, computers, and
telephones. You have clothing that doesn’t need to be ironed, fax
machines to speed your mail, airplanes to zip you across the nation,
and alarms to keep out intruders. All of your possessions do less
than one angel.
We help you in many more important ways. We help much more than your
labor saving inventions. We love you, protect you, support you,
teach you, and we are always with you. These are our basic duties.
But when you ask for our help, our work expands into EVERYTHING!
Asking for our help needs to be second nature. We are there to help
you. Just as you invite into your home a guest who arrives at the
door, invite us into your lives to become a greater part of it. We
do many things without being asked. God sends us often to protect
you, for instance. But to allow us, by asking, to be part of your
life will increase our ability to help you to unbelievable
proportions.
Why is this? Because we do not intrude. You get to make your own
decisions. That is your human right. When you decide to ask us to
help you, we can raise our level of assistance and become true
partners. You have a choice. You can do everything alone, or you can
ask for our help. How? Just say a prayer in the morning that we be
with you to help you throughout the day. Then, when you need
specific help, such as ease in finding something, ask again. Invite
us whenever you could use a helping hand, an idea, or support in any
way.
Angels are the best labor saving device you will ever have.
