Difficult
Times
ANGELSPEAKE
By Barbara Mark & Trudy Griswold
We are constantly amazed by the stories of people who demonstrate
amazing courage just by living each day through horrible
circumstances.
We received an email this week from a woman whose twenty-year-old
son died suddenly a few months ago. Then, shortly afterward her
daughter was found to have a brain tumor. And yet her message was
not whining or questioning, it was thankful because her entire
family felt the presence of angels around them.
We asked our angels, what do angels do when the difficult times are
upon us. What is their work, what is their role, what help should we
ask them for?
The Angels Speak:
We say to you, dear ones. It is never as you think it is. It is
never as clear cut as good/bad, happy/sad, illness/health. It is
only about love and learning to love and being in love and
understanding love and becoming more loving and closer to God, who
is love. That is what life is really about.
At times it may seem, when things are bad in your life, that we are
not there. Many people think, during difficulty, that we have
abandoned them and that all we do is ignore the cries of help that
are expressed by suffering souls.
It is just the opposite. We are very busy during times of crises.
But it is important for you to know what our role truly is. Yes, we
teach, comfort, support, and surround you with love, but we are also
helping you carry out the plan of your life.
Let us use the example of a baby born with handicaps or defects as
you call them. We see the baby as perfect and whole, even though his
or her physical body may be imperfect in your eyes. We see the
perfection in every event, circumstance, and process that is
happening at any moment.
Each soul comes to life with lessons to learn, people to help, work
to do, a life to fulfill. As the life unfolds, circumstances arise
which help the soul to learn the lessons, help the people, do the
work, fulfill the life. It all goes together in harmony no matter
what it appears to you who has limited understanding.
In truth, the bad times are really the best times to become fully
who you were born to be and to fulfill the covenant you made with
God before you were even born to do his work in the best way
possible. Yes, to learn lessons, to help people, to fulfill your
purpose. What you would call “good” times, are really times of
resting between the heavy learning times.
So what do we do? We love you and support you during the lessons so
that you may come through them. We are your support. We carry your
prayers—which is positive energy—to God so that he may help you and
sustain you. We bring you courage, clarity, perspective, optimism,
resilience, and understanding.
Bad times are not about punishment. They are about opportunity. Bad
times are not about God abandoning you. They are about feeling the
full extent of how much love there is available to sustain you. Bad
times are not about imperfection they are about perfection. They are
opportunities for you to do God’s work on earth and to understand,
on a much deeper level, how much love is available to you in any
situation—good or bad, perfect or imperfect.
Faith Builder:
See the lessons and opportunities given to you to today. Be
aware of your angels’ help.
