Divine
Right Action
ANGELSPEAKE
By Barbara Mark & Trudy Griswold
At the very beginning of our rapid spiritual growth in the ‘80s, we
had the idea that God needed our constant advice on what to do and
when to do it. We thought we were being helpful with our
contributions.
One day, a friend casually mentioned that she prayed for “Divine
Right Action.” We had never heard of the term, so we went to our
angels for clarification. Our angels taught us that we really needed
to do a lot less “telling” and a lot more “asking” and “thanking.”
The Angels Speak:
Divine Right Action means that God created and knows the big
picture. That God knows how everything interacts with everything
else. It means that there is a harmony within each thing in the
universe that bonds one element to another. It is the best for the
most. It is perfection.
What happens when you ask for Divine Right Action? You are saying
that however a situation turns out, it is all right, because you
understand that God knows best. It is a good way to pray. By all
means still ask for what you want help with—for anything you want to
do, to be, or to have. Ask God for every thing you can think of. He
wants you to! But respect His supreme knowledge and plan. Know that
He sees all, how it all fits together, and what each cell of the
universe is trying to become or do.
When you tell God what to do and how to run His world, you are
saying that you don’t trust that He will help you with your needs.
People tend to “humanize” God and not to trust His benevolent love.
Make God BIGGER, and believe that He is helping you in every way to
fulfill your own greatness. Be aware of how much He trusts you to be
His ally. God respects you as well as loves you. Trust Him to know
best.
So, even when you think that nothing is happening; when you think
that God isn’t paying any attention to you or your plight, know that
he is enfolding every part of the universe into a greater plan. And
YOU are part of it.
We apologize. For the words we use to explain Divine Right Action
only complicate the simplicity of it. We would like to use this
saying to explain it:
God’s in His heaven.
All is right with the world.
It is so.
Faith Builder:
Look at yourself as though you are one with God, as see yourself as
part of a greater plan.
