Patience,
Dear One
ANGELSPEAKE
By Barbara Mark & Trudy Griswold
When you begin to talk to your angels, you will soon hear them
say, “Patience, Dear One.” You will hear them say it a lot.
We human beings are an impatient lot. When we want something, we
want it now. Delayed gratification is not our forte. When we begin
to work with angels and learn how they work “above” as opposed to
how we work “below,” we realize that patience is a virtue we are
going to have to acquire—somehow. As usual, we asked our angels how
we could learn patience.
The Angels Speak:
Dear Children, first of all we must understand what patience truly
is. You think it is to be calm and wait for what you want. In truth,
that is only part of it.
Patience is a spiritual energy that says, Let God do what God does.
It is more of a release than a waiting. It is like an “exhale.” One
brings in energy on the inhale, then lets go of it (releases it) on
the exhale. Patience is to let go of the energy which surrounds a
desire or idea. It is a relaxation of desire or outcome. It is more
like being asleep than being awake. It is passive.
However, patience is not inactive, any more than sleep is inactive.
Patience means to do what you can do, but that is all. Do not create
any new effort, but give what is already there to God.
Think of an automobile driving up a long hill. The power within the
car’s engine takes it to the top. At the summit, the power within
the car and the power of gravity take it to the bottom. You could
even turn off the car and coast, because the forces that are already
at work are going to complete the action of taking the auto to the
bottom of the hill.
This is how it is with patience. Do what you need to do (which may
not be much at times) and then let outside forces complete the
process. Patience is what takes over after the work is done.
Patience is what is meant in the saying, “Be still, and know that I
am God.” Patience is to be still in body, mind, and spirit.
When we say, “Patience, Dear One,” We mean that you have done all
the “work” that is necessary for you to do. We will do the rest. In
God’s time.
Now, about time. Our time is not your time. When we say, for
instance, that you will be moving, we do not necessarily mean
tomorrow or next week or next month. We mean that when all the
energies are correct and that when the timing is for the greater
good so that you will not led into fear or anxiety you will be
moving. We are saying that when events have come together
synchronistically there will be the least amount of trouble or
difficulty. Then it will be time to move. Until then, stop efforting.
Trust, trust, trust. God is creating a greater plan than you can
possibly know. He sees your needs and path much better than you do.
He knows when to act and when to wait. He will take care of
everything. Save your energy and believe in God. Everything is fine.
Patience, Dear One.
Faith Builder:
Give to God what you can’t do or solve. Allow patiently for Him to
take care of your problem
