Angelic
Support Groups
ANGELSPEAKE
Barbara Mark & Trudy Griswold
When you begin a spiritual study group of any type—a book review, Bible
study, prayer group, or angel communication group, you are going to
find that God or His angels are active participants. Expect divine
guidance and inspiration and then watch yourself grow!
With a desire to communicate with their angels or God, many
people have written, started a journal, prayed, and meditated. Yet
when you are truly interacting with divine beings, you are talking
to them and they are speaking back to you. Their guidance for you is
essential to understanding and completes the communication. When you
talk to the angels, or God, you are making a series of comments,
which usually come from some question or problem you are presently
experiencing. When you listen and write down what you receive, you
will find clear, patient, useful and helpful guidance coming back to
you.
For most people this interchange is one-to-one--you with your
angels. But many people find it comforting and supportive to meet
with a group of spritual buddies to clarify their angelic
experience. We have three friends, Bettybob, Kay, and Gail, who meet
several times a month. Each one of them brings up a personal
situation upon which they would like some “angelic guidance.” Then
they take turns writing for each other and reading aloud what they
received. An active discussion always results. Most of the time, the
friends are in awe at the similarity of the responses and the
usefulness of the message. A fresh, spiritual, loving approach has
replaced the doubt or fear that started the discussion in the first
place.
This week we received an email from Kishme in Canada. She is a
member of a group that meets every Sunday evening as an ongoing
spiritual study group. They begin by praying and asking the angels
to come to them. They then individually share about their week.
Their first writing is a personal gratitude list of why they are
blessed. After a discussion, they write their angels starting the
communication with a topic such as, “Dear Angel, How do I know you
are there?” After they read their answers aloud, there is more
discussion. Each month there is also a Day Trip to a place that is
inspiring, beautiful, or spiritual. This group’s purpose is to
become closer to God and His angels.
Q: I don’t know if my church would like me to start an angel
group.
Angels: Then why not begin an inter-denominational group of
many friends? You will learn from each other and you will find that
angels are for everybody and that God is within all groups and
religions. You will receive the gift of tolerance by sharing with
one another concerning your traditions, foods, experiences, and
beliefs. We love to bring seekers together.
Q: Do we only have one angel?
Angels: You have as many angels as you need to help you with
any situation. There are multitudes of us available to you at all
times.
Faith Builder:
Meet with a friend this week and write to the angels for each
other!
