Are Angels
There?
ANGELSPEAKE
Trudy Griswold and Barbara Mark
The most common comment when communicating in writing with any
divine being is, “I think I am making it up.”
This is not just a comment from your head, it is actually part of
the experience of writing your angels. Why wouldn’t you feel like
you are making it up? You are receiving an answer to your very real
question from seemingly out of “nowhere”. The answer comes to you
through “inspiration”, and then transfers itself from your brain,
down your arm, out your fingers, through your pen and onto your
piece of paper. It would be most unusual if you did not think you
were making it up.
There are, however, some unique clues that show you that the
writing was not made up by you and is truly coming from your angels.
These happenings seem to be universal, because no matter how
inexperienced the writer is, or wherever the communication
originated, there will be these little signs that are peculiar to
angel messages.
1. Angels Use “We.” They have no egos and they tend to work in
groups, so they call themselves “we” in the plural form most of the
time.
2. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you! Angels love to emphasize a
thought by saying it three times. Their favorite phrase to us seems
to be, “Patience, patience, patience,” when we charge ahead
incautiously.
3. Angels Combine Words. They send more than one word at a time and
you will want to write both of them down. It is natural to put the
two together with a slash in the middle i.e. heal/hear, good/God, or
feel/experience. This enhances the meaning of the sentence and is
more fun!
4. Angels Make Up Words. One time, when we were being negative, they
said we were full of “notness” which is a made up word, plus adds
the suffix …ness which is also a thing they like to do. Another
suffix they tack on where it doesn’t necessarily need to go is …ment.
5. Angels Talk Together. Sometimes when they are speaking it will
feel as though you are in the middle of a huge party and everyone is
talking at once! We handle these confusing messages by telling them
to slow down and take turns. It works!
6. Angels Feel Different. Their communication may come through you,
but it is just different enough that you question it. Plus, one
angel will have a different feeling from another. It is amazing how
much you can discern about your angel when you just “feel” its
energy.
Q: Does the feeling of making it up ever go away?
Angels: Not completely, but you will get used to it. That
feeling is actually a sign we are there.
Q: How often should I write my angels?
Angels: As often as you need to. Sometimes we will come to
you first, and you will just “know” we have something to talk to you
about. Other times, you may want to ask us a question. We are always
available. You are our work.

Ask your angel what his/her name is. Take a deep breath, it is
the first name that comes to your mind.
