Knowing God

There will come a time in your spiritual growth that you will
long to know God.
At first, as we were seeking the meaning to our lives, we did not
think about God much at all. We had no reference for Him other than
what we had learned as children. If we had any thoughts about Him at
all, they were full of misunderstanding and ignorance. We laughingly
say now that we had God on a par with the IRS. If we left Him alone
and did as we were supposed to do according to the rules, then He
wouldn’t bother us. But one day the angels came to us and started
teaching us about God.
The Angels Speak:
Everyone wants to separate angels from God. God IS angels. We
are one. Think of God… not very easy. There is no clear concept of
God. His appearance or physical self is illusive, is it not? Think
of an angel. That is much easier, isn’t it? Even though there are
many types and styles and sizes of angels, you can as least conjure
up a vision of one. Very good.
Now think of a man. Think of a woman. Think of a child. Think of a
tree. Think of a rock. Think of a blade of grass, a drop of water, a
piece of sky. Those too are God. Think of air, warmth, cold, a cell,
those too are God. You are getting it. God is ALL.
When you cannot understand God in your brain, then understand Him in
your heart. Your higher self is God, too. Your inner knowing, as you
call it, is God. Your brain is mostly a storehouse of information
that processes knowledge and keeps your body going. Knowledge is not
God. Knowledge is only information. A book is God because it is
cells of being. The ink is God. The words written in the book may or
may not be of God. God does, however, send His angels to help you
with understanding what has been written.
Q: Oh, oh. He is getting too big for us to understand again.
Angels: Yes. And He always will be. That is why He sends His
angels to intercede between you and Him.
Q: There are some who believe in God, but not the angels.
Angels: They are the same. It doesn’t matter. God is in
everything. He is the ALL.
Q: I really doubt God cares about me.
Angels: Yes, it is possible to believe in angels more than
God. It is all right. For now you know they are the same. Believe in
what you believe for God has inspired you to believe it. But
believe this too. You are protected. You cannot imagine how
protected you are. He needs you to help others and He will send
every angel in heaven to help you do that. It is that important. He
will not lose your planet from His beautiful solar system without a
fight. You are one of His committed warriors whether you believe in
Him or not.
