Dear Barbara and Trudy: I have a question. I have been with a man for 17 years whom I have been through many good and hard times. I have been contemplating leaving him, because he lives his life in a very negative way, and I live mine as positively as possible. I believe everything is created for our highest good, and he believes he is a victim, and that life happens to you.

His mind seems to be very closed. He does have many good qualities too though, and his kids are really glad he is in their lives. It's like a part of me wants to stay with him and keep the kids safe and happy but there's this part of me that feels very uncomfortable with him. I'm confused because I wonder if leaving him will cause my children upset because of divorce, or stay to keep the children happy. Now I am staying and working on my growth. I feel great like I’m being pulled in two different directions and I wonder if the angels have any comment on this situation because I know I am not the only one out there feeling this way.

Dear Trudy and Barbara
I have always felt like I am out of place. I never hung with one group. I had a friend or two from each group. I was born in Michigan, but I have never been to Michigan or seen the state other than books or on TV. My parents only stayed there till I was 2 yrs old. Then they moved back to Chicago. . I feel that I never belonged and I just am wandering around the earth with no secure feeling of belonging anywhere.

I have grown to love and believe in angels. I feel they are all around me, but I never feel I get a straight answer from them. I am never sure if they are answering me. I was told I had a bad spell put on me on my 13th birthday by someone that was jealous of me and my family. Would that have anything to do with the way I feel lost?

DEAR Mary,
There are many reasons you may feel out of place, but the major one is that you are a "seeker" and as such, you go forward with life where you are shown to go. The job of a seeker is to seek, and you have done a lot of that. There is a lot of goodness in being what you are; the trick is to find some like minded people to do it with.

We are seekers, too. We have lots of friends, but we definitely march to our own drummers. Also, you might have been born out of your "soul group" which means that you don't have any really close soul friends this lifetime, so you feel differently from others...including family. So you end up feeling as though you are the odd-man-out.

It's okay. Ask your angels to bring like minded people into your life and develop the kind of personality that will attract others to you. It can be done. Take a Dale Carnegie Class...that is a great thing to do for "loners." You might benefit from a reading, too. You will get insights on your life.

About the "spell", I doubt it. But just in case, there are some negative vibes hanging around, ask your angels to remove them. You can smudge yourself, use holy water, or just pray sincerely for cleansing and imagine pink light pouring over your body and washing away any clinging energies that are not of the light.

And, your purpose for this year is to HAVE FUN!

Dear Barbara & Trudy,
I have experienced two auto accidents near my home, and both times I felt victimized. Since January 23, 2000 my whole world has been turned upside down and inside out.

I know that these things have happened in my life for a lesson I probably need to get on with life. A friend recently told me that I am rising out of the ashes into the new person I will grow into.

What questions do I need to ask of my angels? I know they are with me. I want to be able to access them when I need their wisdom and teaching.

DEAR Sarah,
What a wise and wonderful friend you have. She sounds like a Spiritual Buddy you can depend on to help you understand.

If we had been through what you have been through, and knowing that there are no accidents only lessons, we would first ask our angels what was the lesson in the car wrecks? Why? Then we would ask them to help us get over any resentments or physical problems we might have remaining, and also to bless the others who were in the wreck. It is not uncommon to have accidents when you are growing spiritually. Trudy had several car crunches when she was beginning to open to her work. The angels told her that they were a wake up call and admonished her to pay attention.

Our book “Angelspeake: How to Talk with Your Angels” will teach you all you need to know about communicating with them, or better yet, take one of our Teleclasses and learn to write them in a class on the telephone. We have them every month.

Dear Barbara and Trudy and Dear Angels. THANK YOU for letting me know Elvis’ answer to us all. I was so surprised when I read it on the Library computer this morning, tears came in my eyes and it was hard to see for a while. It is very hard to explain how I feel, but I know I’m so grateful and thankful in my heart for this and please include you in my thoughts. This is hard because English is not my home language, so I pray you will understand me trying to tell my feelings about all this.

I was planning to write you and tell about how I got to know my Angels name - after your direction - and so I will shortly - Monday evening at about six a clock I had got on the wrong bus - without knowing- and the driver didn’t want to stop before his ordinary bus stop, even though he had the opportunity to stop earlier. That would have made it a lot easier for me to get home. He was in a very bad mood so I didn’t argue with him, only asked him nicely, but no...

I had to walk for nearly 50 minutes in darkness and snow and cold weather, I was afraid but felt that God was with me. When I was walking I asked about my Angel’s name - as I have before - and this time after a while I got the name I didn’t recognize it first I had to look it up in a book, and now I know. Dear Dr. King, I have always admired you. What would you like to share with me?

How wonderful to hear from you my child and to have the opportunity to share my thoughts. Much has happened since I walked the earth plane. I have seen much happiness, I have seen sadness. But most of all I have seen "hope." Hope arises eternally no matter what the situation. No matter how difficult times may seem, no matter how much turmoil seems to be ever present, the people who believe and have hope in mankind and mankind’s ability to heal through love will persevere.

Although I gaze down among you and I still see hatred and fear, what I see very strongly is indeed the power of love to heal. Yes, be concerned about the war; about our disconnection with other nations, but please do not be paralyzed by fear. Fear is the one thing that can stop you in your tracks, cause you to lose your focus, interfere with your positive thoughts. Love is and will always be the answer. Extend your hand to a stranger, acknowledge the homeless person for their spirit within is as vibrant and valid as your own, and always count your blessings. You are blessed to be on this earth doing God's will and showing grace by way of example.

I look down among you and I shine a beacon of light and everlasting love. Let your light shine and peace and understanding will lead the way. Have faith; and believe with all your heart that love will lead the way.
