I just had to share this with you. When I read the latest Angelspeake newsletter, I had thought it was so sad that I had forgotten what an impact Samantha had made - she inspired many children.
I teach 7th and 8th graders and as you can imagine, this time of year is the hardest to keep them focused. I like to do Reader's Theatre with them and had just been given an older book with plays they have never done. Yesterday, I picked up the book and began to just open to any page and it opened to a play entitled, "Samantha Smith!" I guess Samantha has something to share with my "little angels"!
I am always amazed at these little miracles. I can't wait to see why this is the play they need to read! Just thought you would like to know.

Hello Trudy, How are you? Hey Barbara, I'm so glad Phil is recovering. My mom just had bypass at 82 years old and she is doing well. Trudy congrats on your grandchild, you must be thrilled. Hope you are well. I have a question. Oprah interviewed a woman on her show whose four children were murdered by her ex husband. (three teens and a 5 year old.) She went for her morning walk and while she was gone, he entered the house and shot all four of them. When she returned 1 hour later, she found her kids dead. Now, I know that there is a reason for this. But how does one figure out what it is, how does that woman go on? It just seems unfair and yet I know that it is all in the plan. Let¡¦s ask the angels¡K
Dear Ones,
These horrible events are part of the mystery that surrounds many actions on earth. In order to understand such events, you first must know what the ¡§karma¡¨ of the participants is. If you could possibly know what went before, and how all things, right and wrong, balance each other out, you would know that God does not desert anyone. You would know that there is a reason for all things and actions, and that choices made are for a higher cause.
Let us explain karma to you. Eastern religions understand it well. Western religions, which tend to believe in only one lifetime to learn all lessons, do not need to understand it. Karma is simply this. That whatever was begun in another lifetime will continue into the next. That if you are learning a lesson that cannot possibly be learned in one life, the meaning will still be taught until the lesson is learned, and not just one side of the lesson, either.
If you are learning about patience, for instance, there will be ample opportunities presented to you to do so. You will experience all perspectives, from being the abused as well as the abuser. We invite you to talk to your own angels about your own karma. Look up the word. Go to the computer to find out more. Explore the religions who believe in it. But above all know that karma is like a beautiful dance, with many practices to get it right.
You are right. The deed of killing your children is horrible and is against the laws of man and God. But until you understand what went before, you cannot judge. Loving when you do not understand is truly the highest of ideals
The Angels of Teaching

About a year ago I had a knowing that I would be leaving my home town soon for a place I had never been. Was I surprised when it turned out to be Kuwait! Not only that, but there is a slight possibility I may be living in this part of the world for many years to come. This part of the world is so drastically different from anything I have ever known. Talk about culture shock!
I am learning to love the people and find that there is so much good here. The people may seem different, but they still have hearts that love and want to be loved which is not different at all. Also, they genuinely want to do God's (Allah's) will. Although we have different beliefs about some things, I am still quite impressed by their faith.
You have recently printed messages from the Prophet Mohammad. When I read it I could feel the prophet with me and I recognized that it was he who has been stopping by my apartment from time to time. Thank you for helping me to realize who my mystery guest has been for the last few months.

We are so glad you wrote and enlightened us about the Kuwaitis. What a selfless thing to do. It is through understanding the people that peace will come about. We wonder why people hate us in the US so badly. Perhaps because the only view they get of us is through movies, TV, the news, and our politicians? If we could sit down at a meal together and talk about crops and the weather and our kids, we think that we wouldn't be so far apart at all. To be loved...that is all any of us want.
Why don't you write The Prophet and talk to him. You can do it just as well as anyone. Believe.

I have a question that if not too much trouble would you please ask. Why didn't Jesus write his own book? So many books/bibles have interpreted his words and teachings and it seemed to me if Jesus wanted his voice to be put into words, he could very well have done it himself. When I hear people say that Jesus told them to go out and do what I have done, personally I look at that as not go out and write scripture but go and live like I did, be an example of who I was and what I did. Would you ask Jesus what he thinks of this? As far as I know, Jesus went out amongst his people, didn't need a building, didn't ask for money, just sat on our precious mother earth and spoke.

Ah, for the simpler times. If you think about it, there had to be some sort of organization even back in those days. How Jesus was funded doesn¡¦t seem to be in the Bible, but Joseph of Arimathea was one of his followers, and I would think that perhaps he and others underwrote Jesus from time to time. The only reference to Jesus¡¦ writing was when he wrote in the dirt for the people who were stoning the woman when he said, ¡§You who is without sin, cast the first stone.¡¨ Books were very rare in those days. Papyrus and stones were the common materials to write on. Papyrus didn¡¦t last, and rocks767 had their own problems.
So I am going to refer you to a channeled book about that time. It is just published and I found it fascinating. It is called Voices from Ancient Bethlehem: A Dialogue with Jesus and the Twelve Apostles
ISBN: 1-58872-094-2. It will answer many of the questions you asked.

Dear Martha,
When we can't sleep, we write our angels. We know that they wake us up in the middle of the night so they can teach us. Then we sleep fine. Try it. This has worked for many people.

GET READY for an extremely special, very rare astronomical event: On Tuesday, June 8, the silhouette of Venus will cross the disc of the Sun. It's like an extraordinary kind of eclipse -- the last time it happened was in 1882. This much-anticipated transit will be best seen (with special eye protection -- don't stare into the Sun without it!) from Europe, Africa and Asia, but it'll be visible in its final stages from the eastern United States and Canada. Wherever you are, check out a live webcast; this kind of Venus transit won't happen again until 2012, and after that not until 2117. It is called a Venus Transit, so check out one of the many astrology websites for more info.

Anne Frank was born 75 years ago, June 12. We thought she would be the perfect one to talk to at this time of unrest and war.
Dear Anne,
Many have been thinking about you this month of your birthday. Do you have anything to tell us today?
Yes, Dear Sisters. You are fortunate to have each other. All people are fortunate to have each other. This is a planet of coupling. Often you have heard it said that this is a duality planet, but for every action there is an opposite action. Therefore you cannot have bad without good, or light without dark. Thus these two examples are really ¡§couples.¡¨ Male/female, old/young, peace/war, all need each other in order to BE.
People think of me as being shut up alone in an attic for all those years of my life. But that was not true. In survival, we learned to love each other more than you can imagine. We made sure each of us was safe. We were all each other¡¦s responsibilities. I learned more about love in my short lifetime than most people do in many lifetimes, and when we were betrayed and sent to our deaths, it was a fitting end for each of us. We were not afraid, because we had learned to love to such a high degree, that we could not hate even our betrayers or the ones who led us into the gas chambers.
I want to tell you this important thing. There is a greater plan. Even with the agony of life on earth, the opposite is a peace beyond understanding. Joy will replace your worries and fears. Death is not the ending, it is the beginning and the lessons you have learned during life will keep you from despairing in some way during the next life. It is a cycle and an uplifting, to be alive. Enjoy your life however you are living it, for it is the perfect life for you to learn exactly what you came to find out.
My message is this: Learn to love yourself, others, and your circumstances.
Your divine plan is unfolding exactly as it should.
