There was a turtle trying to get to the other side of the road. I turned around, parked my car, and two cars were approaching. The turtle was on the white line by the curb of the road. I figured the cars would most likely pass by it safely. I was wrong. One of the cars hit it and killed it. I wonder where the turtle’s angel was at the time, or my angel? I feel bad that I wasn’t able to save it in time. Do you think turtles have souls?
Dear Karen,
Your letter intrigued us so we asked on of our Native American Shaman friends (Great Bear) what the significance of the event was. She said it was ore than likely the turtle saved YOU! Look at it this way. You stopped your car, therefore you changed your time frame. You thought the turtle was out of the way and that the car wouldn’t hurt it, and yet it did. It must have been a frightening thing, but you were safe. Great Bear thinks that whoever was driving that car needed to be ahead of you and that you were actually being put into a place of safety by the turtle. A turtle is a very sacred animal. She also asked if you, by chance, took a piece of the shell? It would have been a marvelous addition to your medicine bag or altar.
Animals often take “hits” for us. If there are no accidents, then there are no accidents for animals either. This is a world full of miracles.
The angels tell us that animals and other beings have souls of a nature that is proper for them to have. Angels are assigned to them just as they are to everything on earth. We also believe everything has an essence with which we can communicate. Try getting a message from a flower sometime. It will amaze you. Blessings to you,

DEAR Angels,
I am in the process of applying for a new job, however I am very confused about choosing a new career. Can you help me to see the most convenient career? There are a lot of things that I like, and I am trying to go get a good job soon that sometimes I think that I will choose whatever company hires me. I am not sure if I am correct. Please help me to choose a career wisely? Any advice?

Dear Oilim,
The answer to your question is inside of you. You will never find your perfect job by reading your resume or by thinking. Our suggestion is to FEEL your job. What makes your heart happy? What do you have a passion for? How much faith do you have in your inner knowing? Make up the perfect job for yourself. Think of the things you like to do best. Write down all the things you would like to have. Ask your angels to bring your job to you. Then do the next obvious thing, whatever that is. Your heart will always guide you to your perfect place.

DEAR Barbara & Trudy
My fiancé was asked to video tape an auction at a Carmelite Monastery. The sisters have become so ill, they are unable to continue leading their cloistered life. My family has always had close ties with these nuns since one of my aunts jointed at age sixteen.
Once the video tap was transferred to VHS, we watched if for quality. We were surprised to see that at the very beginning as people were filing into what was the chapel; sparkles of light were floating up and out. Once the auction began and the religious items were being bid on, the sparkles disappeared. No one noticed the sparkles in person and it wasn’t a particularly sunny day. I firmly believe that they were angels. It was my first thought. Can you please give me your thoughts/

Dear Rosanne,
Our first thoughts were the same as yours. The angels immediately told us that the sparkles were deceased sisters who had come to say goodbye to their “home” of many years. When the auction started, they were complete with their mission and left. Sometimes when we are teaching we see colors or presences that we believe to be angels or spirit guides. Barbara was in church once and there were very few people in attendance. Yet she could see that every seat was filled by spiritual beings. She could see and feel their energy! It was, to her, the deceased faithful coming to pray even though others would have thought the pews empty. Angels are everywhere for those who have the faith to see them.

I WOULD like to know what it is that I need to learn, what my lesson is behind the issue of inconsiderate neighbors who play their music very loud. It is very distressing at times. Our attempts to communicate with them, has been met with hostility and disregard. What do I need to learn, what is my lesson, how do I fix this?

You are going to love this answer. Once, a friend of ours asked us how to get rid of rowdy neighbors. The angels told us to bless them away! It worked! One afternoon three of us gathered in our friend’s living room (which was across the street from the troublemakers) and we blessed, prayed, and sent white light and love to them as strongly as we could. They were gone within the month. Love works better than hostility. People who know feng shui also know how to turn energy around. Look it up on the web. And, of course, ASK your angels to soften the noise coming from them and to dim your ears against their entertainment.

Hi! I made the mistake of not printing out the remarks in the newsletter from Ronald Reagan and wondered if you could email it to me? It would be so nice to read them again in light of his passing.

In February of 2004 we asked Ronald Reagan how he was doing.
Dear Ladies, How kind of you to think of me. So many have me dead and buried just because they can’t speak to me directly. On the contrary, I am quite busy in some ways. At least my mind is. I, and others like me, come and go. Our spirits leave our bodies often and we go to where things are interesting. As the President of the United States I was interested in many things concerning Foreign Policy and Internal Affairs. I still am. Often I have “gone” to the Middle East to see what was going on, but truthfully, that situation is so out of hand, I find it uninteresting. I do, however visit with the boys who are wounded or dying. There is a freedom of movement we who live in between worlds have, and I take advantage of it.
Mostly, however, I do my best to comfort Nancy and to help her get over her grieving. When she finally accepts that I am “gone” then I will really go. We were, in some ways, too attached to one another. Love is a good and wonderful thing, but it is also important to think one’s own thoughts and to have one’s own life. Yes, we were twin souls, but that doesn’t mean we were one soul. We were still individuals.
Do not feel sorry for me. There is no need. This disease is just as much a part of my life as everything else was. It looks much worse than it is. I have good care and I have learned to be humble in my infirmity. Now, that is the hard lesson. To go from President of the United States to a bed-ridden old man is my just desserts. And funny, too, if you think about it. My enemies are even.

We thought it would be nice to ask how he is now that he has passed over. Here is his answer today.
Dear People,
I am amazed at how much time and money you spent in saying goodbye to my body. What a spectacle. It was nice for Nancy and perhaps the nation, but it was certainly not necessary for me. I am gone, and glad to be so. It is not easy being on earth. There freedom over here is the most amazing thing. All of a sudden, with death, there is a great sense of weightlessness. Not just from being out of the body, but also from releasing all the burdens one carries while alive. It was so much work!
It is nice to be remembered for my sense of humor and my good works. I noticed however, that the press was much kinder to me in their tributes after my death, than they ever were while I was on earth. What with depressing critical reviews on my acting work, and the unending criticism about my political decisions, I was certainly expecting a much harsher analysis of my life. I think of Shakespeare’s pla7y and somehow this seems to be the epitaph I would prefer, “Much Ado about Nothing.” For surely it is. There is no reason to measure a man’s life by his works or the opinions others have about him. The only true analysis is made by our very own souls. Now, that is a glorious and fitting judgment.
Thank you for coming to me again. Say goodbye to all who care, and hello to all those who loved me. The circle of life has been fulfilled.
