Hi Trudy,
I was going through a very difficult time in my life in March of 2006. My mother had given me the Angelspeake Book of Prayer and Healing. I read every last word and tried to apply the teachings to help me in my personal life. I was completely distraught one day, found your website and phone numbers to reach either you or Barbara. I chose to call Barbara because she was close to where I grew up in California. I called her, sitting in my car on my cell phone, crying and ready to give up. Barbara and I spoke in depth about many issues, primarily our substance abuse issues and how destructive they had been in our lives. For over an hour, Barbara talked to me and gave me a small reading. Because I didn't have the financial resources to pay for a full reading, she was going to do this for me for whatever I could afford, which was only about $5 at that time. She assured me my Angels were with me and they relayed to her that I was going to have a lot of happiness coming in my life and that my issues were going to be resolved. I took so much of our conversation to heart, that I believe she is the one who kept me going.

Barbara was going in for surgery the very next day and asked me to call her back in 3 or 4 days so we could speak again. When I called her daughter told me that her diagnosis was Cancer. I was never able to speak to her again, but prayed daily for her. I still think about her on a daily basis and have been so thankful for the kind words and the time she took when I felt so down and hopeless.

I guess I wanted to relay this to you so you know how much she touched my life. Things in my life did improve for a while, I have been clean for 18 months, but still struggle with wanting to know if I am going to make it through yet another difficult period. I am of the Orthodox faith, I pray often, to God and my Angels, but feel so scared about my future. I no longer feel their presence and feel myself sinking again. Could I please ask you to say a prayer for me? I desperately need some hope and faith in my life that I can look forward to some happiness and stability in the future. I know my own happiness is up to me. I need to find that peace in my heart again that Barbara gave me. Thank you for taking the time to read this... May God continue to bless you...

Hello E.B.,  Thank you so much for emailing me about your wonderful discussion with Barbara during a difficult time for you. You were probably one of the last individuals Barbara helped before passing over. She was such a great person to speak with when life gets tough. Her perspective seemed so "right on" and you always felt better after speaking with her. I still miss my calls with her and I understand you wanting to speak with her again.

I will share something that Barbara and I used to talk about. She felt that learning to stay in the moment was very important in life. When we start worrying about tomorrow, or next month or a year from now, that always seems to bring up fear and worry. So, get out of the future and stay in the moment, stay in today, for this day you can handle. Also, pray each day and learn to ask God and the angels for help. They hear your prayers and send you constant love and support.

Congratulations that you have been clean for 18 months!! Barbara's sobriety date was 8/18/81. I couldn't help but notice the similarity in the numbers 1 and 8 and I feel that Barbara is with you, helping you through this difficult time. She helped you when she was here in body and she is helping you even more now that she is in spirit. She is saying that all IS going well for you, no matter what seems to be going on in your life, and that you will be fine. You are gaining strength each day you stay clean. She's also saying that she will keep an "angel-eye" out for you.

I will definitely pray for Linda's passage back home. The angel Metatron is the angel on earth that has the honor to take souls home to God. Pray to him and give thanks to all the loved ones who have gathered to help her.

Also, I am asking all the angels to be with you and her family during this difficult time of saying goodbye to her in physical form. However, she feels very much at peace and you are all cared for and loved by your angels more than you could ever know.

Thank you so much for that message today! Sometimes I "hear" a message or direction after my asking a question, or feel strongly directed. But I have been feeling especially "dis-connected" recently, being unemployed and concerned about finances. What you wrote rang so true for me! I DO feel those feelings in my stomach and solar plexus.  I have until today, not paid a whole bunch of attention to them!

Hello Angelspeakers!

I hope you found time to relax and enjoy some time-off this summer. My angels didn't get the message that life is supposed to slow down! They’ve kept me busy dictating many beautiful messages to me over the entire summer. I want to share part of their extraordinary teachings.

At the beginning of my spiritual seeking and angel writing they kept telling me that we all came here to learn our life lessons. Here is a part of what I received about the value we receive and the personal growth made possible by learning our life lessons.

Life lessons help you take charge of your life. You will come to a greater consciousness and will learn to live the life you agreed to live before coming to earth. Your true essence from your agreement with God wants to come through. Now you must release attitudes or beliefs that do not belong to you and become the person you are truly meant to be. Please do not struggle to release the old beliefs or to let in new thoughts. Lessons present themselves for you to learn who you truly are so your entire spiritual blueprint can emerge. Each learning or opportunity to grow and change may be painful or difficult until you allow the change to happen. Surrendering to your true self and allowing your soul’s knowledge to come through will bring you to your goals of happiness and love. Your true God self will flow from you and you will find peace, love, clarity and the direction you have always yearned for in your life.

Yes, life is beginning to shift back into gear after the summer months and I hope you'll carry this teaching into your busy life. Remember, your life lessons and learning are the gateway to the life you have always wanted. Be good to yourself and learn to flow with the lessons. You are being shown the way and helped along your path by your loving teachers.

Dear Seekers,

My greatest joy in life has been to pass on to you all of the messages the angels wanted you to know. Sometimes I felt like a go-between heaven and earth and that was the best of all times. Today I feel like I am more on the heaven side than the earth side, but I think that must be perfect because the angels have told me over and over that there are no accidents and that going from here to there is no more than an inhale from this place to an exhale into the arms of the angels. Yet I feel sad. I guess that is because I have had such a perfect time here to work with both sides and I don't want to leave you.

I will still keep talking to you! I have no idea how many people Angelspeake has touched, but I do know that it has been a bunch. So, if I have taught any of you to talk to the other side, then ask for me to come to you. It will be my greatest reward. And if you wonder what I am going to say it is simply this.

I will continue to teach you.
