Barbara and Trudy - what / how should those of us on the other side of the country - FL - are to do to celebrate this event?

Any way you want. Find a few friends, and make up an event. We decided that something that happens only every 4,000 years doesn’t have a format, so we invited everybody, talked to a shaman friend of ours, will break out the candles, sing a few songs, maybe find a guitarist and a drummer or so, and let it happen! The point is to just have a good time and celebrate a new turning of time.
For those of you who want to know what we are talking about, on November 8th an astrological event of momentous importance is to take place. Six planets: Sun, Moon, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn and Chiron, will align to form a perfect Star of David, a six pointed star. This coincides with a total eclipse of the moon. It is over 4000 years since such a configuration occurred. This alignment is considered to be more powerful than the Harmonic Convergence of 1987 and has been called the Harmonic Concordance.
We sent an invitation to everyone we know for the celebration we are having here in San Diego. Why not have one in your area?

I am a fan of your newsletter but have always felt alienated from your reference to God as "He".
Could you consider being more gender-neutral?

Actually, Laurie, We are told that God doesn’t have gender. God’s energy is distinctive, however, and may “feel” like a he or she depending what the belief of the receiver is. In English, there is no real word for a neuter being except “it” and we just can’t seem to call God “it”. So we call Him what every religion does, political correctness notwithstanding. We call God, “He”. If you have a better idea, let us know. We are always open to suggestions.

I read your conversations with John Ritter and Johnny Cash. I wonder if there is a significance to the rash of entertainers dying this year? The year 2003 started with the death of Maurice Gibb, then Richard Crenna, Al Hirschfield, Nell Carter, Robert Stack, June Carter Cash, David Brinkley, Gregory Peck, Katherine Hepburn, Buddy Hackett, Herbie Mann, Barry White, Buddy Ebson, Bob Hope, Gregory Hines, Charles Bronson, Johnny Cash, Sheb Wooley, John Ritter, Warren Zevon, George Jump, George Plimpton, Robert Palmer, Donald O'Connor, then director Elia Kazan.

There probably aren’t any more entertainers making their transition this year than any other, but thanks for your input. Why not pick out a few and write them? In fact, we will start you off by picking Barry White.

Dear Ladies,
Thank you…but I am very happy over here. I suffered from bad health the last few years and my poor body couldn’t take the rigors of earth life any more. You may know that I had a breathing problem called apnea, and it finally took the strength out of my body. At the end, I couldn’t even get around, so it was relief to come over here.
You know, I wasn’t really a musician. I was a rhythmist with a great, deep voice. I didn’t really sing — it was more like I chanted with a musical background. I know now that I had many lifetimes where my voice was my fortune. Usually by being a preacher or orator. In this last life, I taught men how to treat their women. Women like romance and my work was designed to show men that. A few other things got thrown in, but you will notice my work was more about a sensual relationship between a man and a woman. May it continue.
Bless you for picking me. We all have much to say over here.

Dear Trudy & Barbara,
Please, I have asked this question before and am very confused about what is accurate. We learn through our angels that life after death is "heavenly" and wonderful - which I have no doubt is absolutely true and I have been taught this since a young child. However, in church, we are told over and over that if you don't follow the commandments, etc..., and don't believe that Jesus is the son of God, that we will be doomed to hell - is this true or is there even a place called "hell"???? I am Christian and this has been taught in every church I have ever attended. Please clarify because our angels never speak of such a morbid place.

Dear Angels, What is "hell" or is there such a place?
Dear Children, Yes, there is such a place, but it is not what you think it is. Hell isn't a place--it is a state of mind. When a soul is without love or a belief in God or in a belief that there is no love for them on either side of the veil, then that is the state of "hell". And how could you get out of such a hopeless place? By asking. By saying, "God, please help me." In a twink of an eye, you would be transformed into that place of love you call "heaven". God is not exclusive to anyone who seeks him. No matter what you have done or how you have lived, you can come back into his light and love just by seeking to be there.
You would have to be a pretty sad individual to be in "hell". Churches, in their understanding, have made hell a place. It is a lack of love of any kind that creates "hell."
Don't worry, dear lady. You are a beautiful seeker, and God loves you enormously. Blessings to you.

Thank you so much for your most thought provoking Newsletter. Since I started to receive copies I have found that the messages from the Angels give me joy beyond compare. My heart sang to the words of Fr. Mychal.
I have been searching for my true spiritual path all my life and I have recently read your Angel prayer book. What a wonderful experience. I followed your directions and found that I have wonderful supportive angel/guides. I very much want to dedicate myself as a light worker but am presently being asked to Be Still and Wait. I would dearly like to know what is happening.

Dear Gillian,
Thanks for your kind words. It makes it better for us to do what we do when we know it is helping people like you. We have posted Fr. Mike’s message on the website under the Newsletter section.
You have already dedicated your life to God as a Light Worker. You were born with that passionate desire. What your angels are telling you is to be patient because your time to understand is not yet here. Read our story in Angelspeake or on the first page of our website (fictionalized a bit)and you will know that nearly everyone walks around in confusion until the light came on. And there is no way you can make it go on. The angels are in charge of timing.
In the meantime, keep writing your angels, praying for guidance, and being yourself. Light Workers (those who work for God in some way) often don't have a clue how much they actually are doing. Even in your doubt, God is using you to do his work.

I have been in touch with my angels since the mid-90's when your first book came out. I have 3 of them, 2 female and one male, who are always with me. I believe that they led me to discover Padre (now Saint) Pio and he has become my patron saint.
I want to tell everyone that what you say about angel touches is true. My father passed over in 1992. I always know when he's near me because I'll get a whiff of the pipe tobacco he used to smoke. It happens at the weirdest times or the strangest places! I work a 4 to midnight shift in my job, and the other night I was driving home at midnight when all of a sudden I smelled that tobacco. I'm always worried about hitting a deer or a moose since they do roam the highways late at night, but that night I felt a little safer because I knew Dad is with me. My sister has also noticed that tobacco scent in her house many times and also feels that Dad is still here watching over all of us.

Thanks for the affirmation/confirmation! I had this angel that smelled like shoe polish that came and went at the strangest times. I would be on the beach, or in the bathtub, or someplace where there was no one with shoe polish anywhere! I never did figure out who or what it was, but it was really obvious to me that he was there. I will ask him or her why he/she was coming to me.
Dear Shoe Polish Angel, who were you and why did you come to me?
Dear One, I was with you for several years as you were growing in your work. My work was to remind you not to doubt. With such a strange and distinctive smell such as shoe polish, you could not miss me. Also, when you smelled my presence, you had an immediate shift of consciousness that brought you from concern to laughter. It was our personal “joke” as it were. I am still with you from time to time, but you have progressed to where you do not need the reminders as you did then.
