HOLIDAY THOUGHTS FROM US
Thanksgiving is our favorite holiday. It is so manageable! And it is all F’s. Food, Family, Fun, Friends, (and Football). There are no presents, extraneous decorations, or bills to follow in January. This year was especially wonderful. Barbara was with her daughter’s family in Alaska, and our other sister, Jackie, went to Trudy’s in Connecticut. We were, indeed, thankful.
But now, the Christmas decorations are up in the stores, the malls are playing carols, and the “spending season” is at hand. AAAARGH. The three major religions have celebrations at this time of year: Christmas for the Christians. Chanukah for Jews. And Ramadan for the Muslims (a month-long time of prayer and fasting which began in November this year). We asked our angels about the holidays in this time of fear and war. It amazes us that these great religions all teach peace and are in the process of killing each other. The angels, thankfully, had a good teaching for us.
Dear Ones,
There are several things to remember when life is difficult in any way.
1. We are with you.
2. We are guiding you.
3. We are keeping you safe.
Whenever you feel upset in any way about any thing, STOP! Take a deep breath and ask for our love to wash over you like a soothing shower. Then say, “Angels, fill me with peace.” Then breathe again. We will come within you with our love and you will immediately feel better. This is true.
Our best spiritual advice, however, is to enjoy the holidays moderately. Be moderate in the preparations you do. Do you really need to do that much shopping? Cooking? Baking? Do you really need to spend that much money? Is it necessary to send cards to all those people? Ask yourself this question before you begin another task, Is this really that important? Is this really necessary?
These are the times when your true spiritual nature will surface. What do you do most during this month of holiness? Work or pray? Spend or nurture? Rush or rest? Take, give, or balance? Things, money, alcohol, food, work, and so on all take away the spirit of this time. . It is all right, of course to have fun, to buy gifts for those you love, to cook delicious food for your family, but the word to remember is MODERATION
Faith Builder: Ask your angels to be a partner in all you do this month. Then watch your attitude shift.

BEAUTIFUL KNOWING
What would you think that the most often “last word” heard on a cockpit voice recorder just before a plane crashes would be? If you have read our book “Heaven & Beyond”, you may be able to guess it right away. The word is “Mom.” And who else would be there to welcome you to the other side, but your own mother. The one who gave you birth on earth is the first to lovingly welcome you back when your work is done. Think about it. If your soul slips instantly and easily from your body, does it not make sense that the last word you say on earth is the first one you say in heaven? Truly, in heaven, as it is on earth.

Hello all~ I have a weird and stupid question. Ok, my angel has been "telling" me for the longest time that a certain event will take place in my life only when the divine timing is correct and that I must be patient. So my belief is that the event will happen, 1. Because he reassured me. And 2. because I feel it deep inside. But then I come in contact with people who, not knowing anything about me or the situation, tell me things that would make it seem like it is not meant to happen. So my question is, would my angel tell me something that would not happen? Like could he be wrong about it or do I just go with what I feel and that I believe him. I guess my thing is that I don't know if angels make mistakes because I treat mine like he's any other friend (a really good one!)and I always wonder if they make mistakes and tell you things that might be wrong, although I doubt it but I had to ask anyway!

AN ANGEL STORY FROM AUSTRALIA
It was the post-Christmas school holidays. I was one of small handful of graduate students staying in the dormitory rooms on campus at the University of Illinois in Champaign. I had told my parents that it would be a good time to study and do some research but mostly I needed to get away from them and to reflect on the year. In that year I had gone through a very painful divorce, survived a rather serious automobile accident. Plus I'd had numerous tests including a bone marrow biopsy and been diagnosed with a "myeloproliferative disorder", and gone through a course of chemotherapy. This was a condition that is normally diagnosed in "old people" and I'd read that the prognosis for someone young was poor. The divorce had left me heavily in debt, I had $25 for food/expenses for the next 4 weeks, and I missed my Old English sheepdog and my Siamese cat who I had to give up when I moved into the dormitory. The stress of school, working two part-time jobs, plus a teaching assistantship on top of my illness had taken a huge toll and I had lost nearly 60 pounds in less than 9 months and I looked terrible. I had never felt so miserable or alone in my life.
I was overcome with emotion and a feeling of total despair. I could see no hope for the future I had planned and therefore no reason to live. I wanted my life to end so that I would not have to face a future without completing my doctorate or achieving my goals, not to mention more chemotherapy and the potential transformation of my disorder into a type of leukemia. Finally, I lay down sobbing on my bed and asked the rhetorical question, "Why me?!?" I expected no answer because I was certain that God had deserted me.
Suddenly there was a crystal clear voice inside my head that said "It is not your time. You have a higher purpose to fulfill in life. You will not understand it now. But it is not your time to die." Although I couldn't see it, I could feel the presence and I realized that it was an angel in the room speaking to me with certainty, authority, and complete love. Almost as suddenly as the voice came to me, it was gone. I was left with a strong sense of peace and knowledge that the angel had spoken the truth and that I must not give in to the doctor's prognosis or my parent’s desires for me to quit my graduate program and come home to live with them .
I've never forgotten those words and that experience in 1976 had a powerful impact on my life. Needless to say, I didn't quit the graduate program and I passed the "10 year life expectancy" with flying colors with the disorder well under control, and the 25 year anniversary as well. And I know that a part of my life purpose is to teach others and as my instant Angelspeake message said, "use your own experience, strength, and hope to teach others."
I don't know the name of the Angel that came to me that night, but "Thank you!" for being there for me that night, and always.

Constant Christmas (originally entitled, “Fear Not”)
Angels are the part of God that appears to us on earth in a way we can understand. The angels constantly tell of joy, peace and love, for that is the only story they have to tell. They also tell us not to be afraid.
The Angels Speake:
There is a lot of fear in the world today, but there is also a great deal of love. We tell this to you so you do not just notice the sad or dark times. Look for the light. Look always for the light.
We say to nearly every new soul who comes to us with questions and requests, “Don’t be afraid. We love you and are here to help you.” When Barbara and Trudy first came to us we said, “Don’t be afraid.” As we said to Mary, long ago, “Fear not!” Our message is the same today.
At the moment we come to you to replenish you with courage and light, we do not just say, “Fear not.” We also say, “Choose joy and love.” We ask you to believe in God more than fear. We ask you to do a difficult thing, knowing that you will accept, for it is part of your lesson to learn to put aside your fears. Your fears are your lessons in life. By learning to replace fear with love, you will go forward into your truth and your greatness. There will always be times you are afraid.
What you fear, you will face. But we will comfort you. We will surround you with our strength, energy, love, and peace, and will lead you through the times of fear. We have taught others how to put their fears in the past. This simple way has helped them to overcome their own human fears and worries. It is time to teach you that you can put your fears behind you.
Pretend your fear is a wall, which stands before you. See it as tall, thick, wide, and deep. Feel the strength of the wall. Be aware of its impenetrability. Know that you are on the fear and shadow side of this strong barrier and that on the other side is freedom, love, and light. Also, feel us beside you. We will help you let go of your fear.
Take a deep breath. Then hold it and walk through the wall. Yes, take a step through this imaginary wall of fear. Get the fear behind you and walk into the joy and light that awaits you on the other side. Then exhale thoroughly. That is the release of the fear. Fear lives in the future. When you walk through the barrier fear creates, you are finished with it. You will feel peace. If you need to, do it again. We will help you.
Expect times of difficulty. You cannot escape them. But you can replace these fearful moments with faith and with patience. With our help, you can walk into the light of God and actually feel His love for you. Fear clouds love. It diminishes the light within. Be willing to let it go and to get fear behind you. When you choose light, fear’s power will be gone.
